Core Beliefs
Creation
We believe that God created heaven, the universe, and everything in it including humanity. Through Him all things were made, and nothing was made without Him (Gen 1-2, John 1:1-4, Col 1:15-20).
The Bible
We believe the Bible is inspired by God, and authoritative for the lives of all Christians (2 Tim 3:16). It is the blueprint for the practice of faith and life. The Bible is sacred scripture that documents a living God who strives to have a relationship with His creation, culminating in redemption.
Salvation
We believe that humans are saved by the grace of God, through faith (Eph 2:8-9). There is nothing we can do to buy, earn, or otherwise obtain salvation ourselves. God has initiated this transaction through Jesus Christ. Our response is to repent of our sins, ask for forgiveness, and believe in Jesus as Lord. We then, in turn, seek to imitate Christ by turning our attention to God, and to loving and serving others. Jesus Christ is God and the only way to Salvation.
